About The Position

Established in 1966, EDENS’ purpose is to enrich community through human engagement. We are the owner, developer and steward of a nationally leading portfolio of more than 100 open-air retail and mixed-use places in high-growth markets coast to coast. We design our places to achieve 3.5 trips per week and 5 hours of dwell time, reaching over 15 million people daily. EDENS is seeking a senior-level retail leasing professional to join our Dallas office, leading leasing strategy and execution for our West Region portfolio. This role requires 5–10 years of retail leasing experience, deep knowledge of Texas MSAs—specifically the Dallas–Fort Worth market—and an active Texas real estate salesperson license. Knowledge of the Austin and Houston markets is considered a strong plus but not a strict requirement. The ideal candidate brings a strong network of national, regional, and local retailers and can immediately contribute to leasing production across existing assets, redevelopments and new developments. Position Summary This senior member of the West Region leasing team is responsible for the leasing performance of a defined portfolio within EDENS’ West assets. The role partners closely with the Regional Head, Investment Manager, and West Region Leasing team to establish strategic goals, shape merchandising plans, and lead the execution of leasing initiatives that enhance asset value and strengthen community impact. Requirements

  • 5–10 years of retail leasing experience, with a strong track record of production.
  • Position will sit in Dallas and travel throughout the state is possible.
  • Active Texas real estate salesperson license (required at minimum).
  • Demonstrated ability to execute both anchor and in-line deals.
  • Experience leasing high-profile ground-up developments and complex redevelopments.
  • Extensive network of national and regional retailers, brokers, and industry contacts.

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of the Austin and Houston markets is considered a strong plus but not a strict requirement.

Responsibilities

  • Source, negotiate, and execute a high volume of retail leases annually across national, regional, and local tenants.
  • Develop project-specific merchandising strategies aligned with asset vision, development plans, and market positioning.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key retail partners and brokers.
  • Conduct market and trade area analysis, including competitive assessments and tenant mix planning.
  • Collaborate across internal teams—Investment Management, Development, Legal, Marketing, Design, Construction, and Property Management—to ensure seamless execution of leasing objectives.
