Fitch Learning is seeking a Senior Learning Partner (Director) to be based out of their Austin office. This role is part of a high-visibility, client-facing team that collaborates with sales, product development, implementation, and marketing to deliver credit-focused learning solutions across North America.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in credit-related training, lending, or financial services consulting, with direct exposure to Corporate & Institutional, Commercial, Small Business, and/or Retail lending.
  • Proven track record supporting enterprise sales cycles and customer success activities, including solution design, proposal development, and senior stakeholder management.
  • Experience with learning solution delivery (e.g., eLearning, blended learning, coaching) and familiarity with LMS/LXP platforms and data-driven reporting.
  • Willingness to travel 5–10% for client meetings, events, and conferences.

Nice To Haves

  • Prior experience as a Learning Partner, Pre-Sales Consultant, Solutions Consultant, or Sales Engineer in financial services training.
  • Expertise authoring thought leadership (articles, whitepapers) and presenting at industry events, webinars, and trade shows.
  • Strong consultative communication skills and the ability to mentor generalist Learning Partners and sales colleagues.
  • Comfort navigating complex organizations, building internal champions, and coordinating cross-functional delivery.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the Client Relationship Sales team to manage client relationships, provide consultative input, understand client learning needs, and act as a subject matter expert in support of credit-related Sales pitches.
  • Help prepare and execute sales calls that include attention to credit-related topics.
  • Help identify and support internal champions at client and prospect institutions.
  • Provide guidance in solution generation, managing the process of determining client needs and opportunities, and ensuring the sharing of all capabilities as appropriate, crafting compelling recommendations.
  • Provide pricing and licensing input, and support proposal preparation.
  • Support the provision of product demonstrations and presentations.
  • Shorten sales cycles and increase the number of deals “closed won”.
  • Understand and articulate customer learning goals and desired outcomes from the delivery of solutions.
  • Coordinate and communicate with Fitch Learning sales, product, and implementation teams to ensure delivery in line with customer expectations.
  • Build relationships with senior client stakeholders, providing high-level briefing on delivery performance and impact/effectiveness.
  • Create and/or deliver data-driven analytical insight reports to support narratives around customer success.
  • Engage in account planning activities to enable contract renewal and/or extension, wallet-share expansion, and cross-sell execution.
  • Interface between the Sales Team and/or eLearning Product Development Teams as appropriate.
  • Assist the transition from Sales Team to Implementation, Operations, as appropriate.
  • Support the eLearning Product Development Team in solution creation and/or customization.
  • Act as sponsor and/or subject matter expert for client-driven development projects.
  • Support the eLearning Implementation Team where applied solutions and/or rollouts are complex.
  • Communicate with other Fitch Learning colleagues regarding prospects and clients.
  • Share information regarding Sales Team needs, solution needs, successes, failures, and ideas.
  • Act as Fitch Learning representative and speaker at industry events, trade shows, webinars, and other client-facing activities.
  • Author thought leadership articles and whitepapers.
