About The Position

The ANA (Association of National Advertisers) is seeking a Senior Learning Experience Developer to join their Marketing Training & Development Center (MTDC) team. This full-time, hybrid role, based in New York City, will focus on advancing and innovating the on-demand training program, which includes over one hundred courses, certificate programs, and a certification program. The position is hands-on, with approximately 80% dedicated to course development and production and 20% to learning design, needs analysis, and collaboration with subject matter experts. The goal is to create engaging, interactive digital learning experiences for professionals in the marketing and business community by transforming complex subject matter into compelling self-paced learning.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of experience developing digital learning solutions in corporate or professional services workplaces for audiences such as customers, product users, sales teams, employees, or other workforce and professional development learners.
  • Advanced course developer proficiency in: Articulate Storyline 360, Rise 360, AI-powered tools, such as HeyGen, SCORM and LMS-based deployment/testing.
  • Strong command of adult learning theory, instructional design, visual and graphic design, audio and video production, and editing.
  • Portfolio demonstrating your interactive digital course development expertise and innovation (include Articulate Storyline 360 examples).
  • Excellent written, verbal, interpersonal, editing, and stakeholder collaboration skills, including the ability to provide clear, constructive feedback to subject matter experts.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to independently manage multiple priorities, deadlines, and projects in a collaborative, results-oriented environment.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly PowerPoint.

  • Master’s degree in educational technology, instructional design, or related field
  • Possess a background and /or interest in marketing or related field.

Responsibilities

  • Build Interactive Digital Learning Experiences
  • Develop high-quality online learning products using Articulate Storyline 360, Rise 360, and AI-enabled tools such as HeyGen.
  • Create engaging eLearning interactions, branching scenarios, activities, simulations, knowledge checks, and assessments, as well as storyboards and scripts.
  • Produce multimedia learning assets, including video, audio, animation, and graphics.
  • Design learner-centered experiences that drive engagement, retention, and practical application.
  • Apply adult learning principles and modern learning experience design practices.
  • Partner with Subject Matter Experts
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders and industry experts to translate complex content into effective digital learning experiences.
  • Identify learning objectives, performance outcomes, and instructional strategies.
  • Recommend appropriate learning approaches based on audience needs and business goals.
  • Manage Course Development
  • Lead development projects from concept through launch.
  • Create and maintain course templates, standards, and development processes.
  • Build, redesign, and update courses and programs.
  • Conduct quality assurance testing and troubleshooting.
  • Ensure SCORM compliance and successful LMS deployment.
  • Maintain version control and documentation throughout the development lifecycle.
  • Continuously Improve Learning Experiences
  • Analyze learner feedback and performance data.
  • Recommend enhancements to existing courses and programs.
  • Stay current on emerging learning technologies, tools, and best practices.
