About The Position

The Sr Learning Consultant-Sales facilitates sales focused training as well as organizational specific content to new or existing employees and ensures learning transfer of content in support of organizational needs, enterprise projects, compliance requirements, and strategic goals. They act as a subject matter expert in sales techniques and best practices that align with our mission, vision and values. They support major organizational initiatives from a project perspective, especially those that directly relate to building relationships with members and increasing member experience through our products and services.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, Marketing, Communication or related field preferred; or Equivalent combination of education and experience required.
  • 5+ Years of Sales Facilitation Experience required.
  • 2+ Years of Leadership Facilitation Experience required.
  • 7+ years experience in Instructional Design required.
  • 4+ years’ experience in as a sales coach or sales position with proven sales goal attainment required.
  • 2+ years Financial Institution Experience required.
  • Expertise and success delivering sales training required.
  • Excellent presentation and group facilitation skills required.
  • Strong interpersonal/human relations skills required.
  • Demonstrated ability to motivate and coach individuals required.
  • Demonstrated ability to work with leaders at all levels of the organization required.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills required.

Nice To Haves

  • SalesForce experience a plus preferred.
  • Certified Professional in Talent Development (CPTD) preferred.
  • DDI (Development Dimensions International) Certified Facilitator preferred.
  • SHRM-CP or HRCI-PHR preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Facilitates all sales leader and general sales related courses, related relevant courses, as well as Leadership Development courses.
  • Develops and deploys effective communication presents messages with impact to engage learning and increase participation adjusts message content and delivery invites dialogue and demonstrates active listening.
  • Assists in ensuring all communications sent from the Learning and Development department are accurate, thorough, and member/internal customer focused.
  • Researches and stays abreast of innovation in Sales Leadership and General Sales skill developments, especially in financial Services, incorporating applicable practices.
  • Collaborates with Learning and Development instructional designers, business partners, and other stakeholders throughout projects and initiatives to ensure that solutions meet or exceed business objectives.
  • Conducts pre- and post-training analysis of course content to identify effectiveness of training (including practices, assessments, activities) in supporting learning transfer and provides feedback to Learning and Development team.
  • Collaborates with L&D instructional designers to recommend comprehensive learning solutions, including delivery approach, learning content, conceptual frameworks, courses, and other training to ensure learning transfer.
  • Maintains Learning Management System (LMS) records related to course exams (including exam analysis and evaluation) and course completion.
  • Expertly models learning facilitator competencies and functions as a mentor to Training Specialists.
  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned
