Requirements

  • 5–8 years of experience in learning and development, organizational development, or process improvement roles
  • 5+ years of experience facilitating training programs and managing change initiatives
  • Bachelor's and/or an advanced degree in Instructional Design, Adult Education, Human Resources, Organizational Development or related field
  • Proven track record of successful project management and cross-functional collaboration
  • A deep understanding of adult learning theory, instructional design, and e-learning methodologies is essential.
  • Experience working with senior leadership and managing stakeholder relationships

Nice To Haves

  • Professional certifications, such as the Certified Training and Development Professional (CTDP) or Certified Change Management Professional (CCMP), are highly desirable.
  • Professional certifications in training, instructional design, or adult learning (e.g., CPTD, APTD). Relevant certifications in project management or change management (e.g., PMP, Prosci, CCMP) considered an asset.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive research to understand stakeholder perspectives, assess organizational needs, and define requirements for strategic learning and change initiatives.
  • Consult with functional leaders to diagnose performance gaps and evaluate strategic options, negotiating outcomes and timelines to ensure the right problems are solved. Balance stakeholder expectations with organizational goals to drive high-impact learning strategies.
  • Executes the end-to-end ADDIE (Analyze, Design, Develop, Implement and Evaluate) process to create a variety of engaging large-scale learning experiences and support materials grounded in learning best practices.
  • Architect large-scale learning journeys and high-impact programs, acting as a "product owner" for Avenue Living Communities that align with business objectives and support organizational transformation.
  • Pull and compile assessment data to evaluate program-wide effectiveness and long-term impact on organizational performance.
  • Participate actively in creating and communicating organizational change strategies, ensuring alignment with business transformation goals.
  • Develop detailed project plans and provide leadership support to drive projects to successful completion, including coordinating cross-functional teams and managing project timelines, resources, and deliverables.
  • Contribute to the oversight and governance of Learning Management System (LMS), ensuring it is effectively utilized and staying current on emerging learning technologies.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support the organization's learning and development goals.
