About The Position

Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Lead Commercial Banking Relationship Manager in Technology banking within Specialized Industries as part of Commercial Banking. In this role, you will develop, retain, and grow complex client relationships by understanding the needs and priorities of clients and financial decision makers. You will drive revenue generation across Wells Fargo’s platform by proactively identifying new credit and non-credit opportunities for new and existing clients. You will handle all aspects of originating, structuring, and executing bank lending and other credit related products, coordinating transactions with various specialized groups within the bank. You will perform financial analysis and underwriting, identify and qualify top prospects, and partner with existing clients to ensure their needs are met. You will develop trusted relationships at multiple levels within client organizations, stay informed of industry trends, and represent the team in the market. You will also drive relationship planning activities and maintain sales and pipeline disciplines.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of Commercial Banking Relationship Management experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
  • Obtaining and/or maintaining appropriate Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) license(s) is required for ongoing employment in this position. In addition, state registration, specific product licenses or SAFE licensing may apply.
  • Additional requirements include meeting enhanced financial fitness and criminal background standards.
  • Obtaining FINRA Series 63 and 79 licenses, or equivalent must be completed within 180-days of date of hire if not immediately available to transfer upon hire.
  • FINRA recognized equivalents will be accepted.
  • Compliance with state law registration and licensing requirements is mandatory.
  • Specific compliance policies may apply regarding outside activities or personal investing; affected employees will be expected to provide information to the Wells Fargo Personal Account Dealing Team and abide by applicable policy requirements if hired.
  • Information will be shared about expectations during the recruitment process.
  • For specific FINRA qualification exams obtained after 9/30/2018, the Securities Industry Essentials (SIE) exam co-requisite may also be required.
  • This position is subject to FINRA Background Screening Requirements, including successful completion and clearing of a background check.
  • Successful candidates must also meet ongoing regulatory requirements including additional screening and are required to report certain incidents.
