Senior Lead RBT
About The Position
The Sr. Lead RBT plays a critical leadership role in supporting training, staff development, and quality client care at assigned locations. This position is responsible for developing, delivering, and maintaining training programs for Behavior Technicians (BTs), Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs), and Lead RBTs, while also providing direct clinical support as needed. The Sr. Lead RBT partners closely with clinical leadership and operations to ensure consistent implementation of evidence-based practices, staff competency, and high standards of ABA service delivery. This role also supports program innovation, safety initiatives, and emergency preparedness, while fostering a collaborative, professional, and growth-oriented culture.
Requirements
- Current RBT certification in good standing
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as an RBT, with demonstrated leadership capabilities
- Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Lead RBT
- Experience working with children with autism spectrum disorders
- Knowledge of ABA principles and best practices
- Strong leadership and mentorship abilities
- Effective time management and multitasking skills
- Ability to develop and maintain professional relationships
- Commitment to client confidentiality and adherence to HIPAA laws
- Flexibility to adapt to dynamic work environments and travel between locations
- Must be able to maintain a variety of postures (kneeling, squatting, crawling, sitting, standing) for extended periods
- Must be willing and able to restrain/hold/transport as indicated in Behavior Intervention Plans
- Must have manual dexterity for data collection and use of electronic devices
- Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds
- Stamina to remain alert and energetic during sessions
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor’s degree in psychology, education, or a related field preferred
- Additional certifications or training in ABA methodologies are a plus
