About The Position

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, or a closely related field plus ten years of progressively responsible experience in the job offered or a related occupation.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and implement the architectural roadmap that balances innovative design and technical implementation with regulatory requirements, time-to-market, customer needs, and product profitability.
  • Design and drive the product strategy with cross-functional stakeholders, aligned with the shared product vision, and ensure mutual alignment with project requirements and the technology/personnel budget.
  • Assign the duties and responsibilities of content strategists, data scientists, product designers, and user experience researchers.
  • Assess the customer experience and customer needs in product requirements and decision-making processes.
  • Evaluate and document key data in user experience reports to influence new product features.
  • Plan operational mechanisms that drive execution and accountability, including Product Reviews, Operating Reviews, and Business Reviews, and interface with product leadership as needed.
  • Set up data-gathering mechanisms to support metrics that inform product success, including usability studies, research, and market analysis.
  • Lead workstreams to include analytics, customer discovery, market research, and competitive analysis to drive data-driven decision-making.
  • Oversee profitability measures, including budget management and financial performance tracking.
  • Advance technology and platform capabilities with Engineering to ensure PayPal builds durable differentiation that drives value for customers and the business.
  • Maximize efficiency in constantly evolving environment where processes are fluid and creative solutions are the standard.
  • Manage a team of 3 product managers (1 lead product manager, 2 senior product managers).
