About The Position
This role involves collaborating with Leads and Architects to define development patterns for REST APIs. The engineer will gather requirements, create design documents, and develop, test, and deploy APIs. Responsibilities include providing technical solutions, enforcing coding standards, and addressing production incidents. The position also requires contributing to continuous improvement while adhering to Enterprise Architecture standards across business, application, integration, data, and infrastructure domains. The job requires up to 5% of domestic travel.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent, or higher, in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field and five (5) years of experience in Technology, Senior Consultant, or related occupation.
- Progressive experience in Java/Java 8, Spring MVC, Struts 2, Oracle, JavaJ2EE, Junit 5, Couch DB, REST web services, Kafka, and Docker.
- Experience performing unit testing, utilizing Junit, and using cucumber for integration testing.
- Experience in Microservices development, applying the Dropwizard framework.
- Experience utilizing CSS3, Jquery, Hibernate, and AJAX.
