You'll be part of a global engineering team designing advanced high-voltage substations that support reliable, sustainable energy solutions for customers and communities around the world. As a key technical leader, you'll guide complex GIS (Gas-Insulated Switchgear) substation projects from concept through installation, collaborating with customers, suppliers, and international engineering teams to deliver innovative, high-quality solutions. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys solving technical challenges, driving continuous improvement, and influencing projects that make a lasting impact on the energy industry. Responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures and guidelines.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
5+ years of experience in substation engineering, high-voltage equipment, or heavy industrial projects preferred.
Proficiency with 2D and 3D CAD software; Creo and AutoCAD experience is highly valued.
Strong project management, organizational, and communication skills.
Experience with Microsoft Office applications and engineering documentation processes.
Ability to travel occasionally for customer meetings, project reviews, and site support activities.

Responsibilities

Lead technical GIS (Gas-Insulated Switchgear) substation projects from initial design through installation and commissioning.
Translate customer requirements into practical, innovative engineering solutions.
Develop substation layouts, drawings, and technical documentation.
Facilitate technical discussions and project meetings with customers and internal stakeholders.
Coordinate material procurement, fabrication activities, and installation planning.
Drive design optimization efforts to improve quality, efficiency, and cost performance.
Collaborate with global engineering teams to deliver best-in-class solutions.
Ensure compliance with ISO, environmental, quality, and safety standards.
