About The Position

The BIM Coordinator supports project delivery by guiding teams on BIM standards, protocols, and tools while ensuring effective information management. The role involves assisting in coordination activities such as clash detection, improving workflows, and promoting best practices in design and data standards. The ideal candidate has up to 5 years of BIM experience, strong technical and communication skills, and a solid understanding of construction documentation and digital engineering processes. As a member of our Digital Solutions team, you will be guiding and training of BIM Procedures and protocols for the project team, support BIM tools on the project, provide support as an Information Manager on projects, assist in BIM protocols and procedures on assigned projects, participate in clash coordination with full design team, support the development of optimal solutions to improve workflows and project delivery, and guide the design team in the use of AtkinsRéalis Data Standards.

Requirements

  • Post-secondary program, certification or equivalent experience.
  • 10 to 12 years of previous experience in a similar role.
  • Experience in the use of BIM.
  • Working knowledge in preparation of construction documentation.
  • Excellent computer and communication skills.
  • Strong combination of technical and interpersonal skills.
