About The Position

Brillio is seeking a Senior Lead Data Engineer to design, develop, and maintain the Enterprise Analytical Data Store (ADS) using the Snowflake cloud platform. This role involves developing and implementing ETL processes and data pipelines using SQL, Python, and AWS services to support enterprise analytics and reporting. The engineer will also design and implement scalable data models and architectures for efficient data storage and retrieval across various business domains. Responsibilities include data validation, quality assurance, performance tuning, and collaborating with business analysts, data scientists, and technical teams to translate requirements into technical solutions. The role also requires participation in project planning and design reviews to ensure compliance with enterprise standards.

Requirements

Master’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering (any) or related field plus two (2) years of IT experience.
Two (2) years of IT experience must include experience in Snowflake, SQL or Tableau.
Alternatively, a Bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering (any) or related field, plus five (5) years of progressive experience.
Two (2) years of the five (5) years of progressive experience must include experience with Snowflake, SQL or Tableau.
Any suitable combination of education, training, or experience is acceptable.
All experience may be acquired concurrently.

Responsibilities

Analyze business and technical requirements to design, develop, and maintain the Enterprise Analytical Data Store (ADS) using the Snowflake cloud platform.
Develop, implement, and maintain Extract, Transform, and Load (ETL) processes and data pipelines using SQL, Python, and AWS services to support enterprise analytics and reporting.
Design and implement scalable data models and data architectures to enable efficient data storage, retrieval, and integration across business domains, including warehouse operations, transportation, finance, and labor management.
Perform data validation, quality assurance, and performance tuning to ensure data integrity, reliability, and optimal system performance.
Collaborate with business analysts, data scientists, and technical teams to translate analytical and operational requirements into technical specifications and data solutions.
Participate in project planning, design reviews, and implementation activities to ensure compliance with enterprise architecture and security standards.
