•$152,000 - $260,000

About The Position

As a Senior Lead Data Architect at JPMorgan Chase within the Private Bank Chief Data & Analytics Office, you will help develop data-product offerings and lead end-to-end data-product design. The role contributes to global target-state architecture and delivers governed, high-quality, AI-ready data for business-critical applications and use cases. The role uses modeling tools such as Erwin and AI-assisted techniques to accelerate metadata production while maintaining governance rigor. It also involves designing for AI readiness, defining interoperability and schema-evolution standards, and incorporating metadata into the data mesh delivery process.

Requirements

  • At least 5 years of experience or equivalent expertise in data design, including data products, data lakes or data warehouses, and data modeling.
  • Advanced knowledge of the data-product development life cycle, design, and data analytics within a domain-driven, data mesh paradigm.
  • In-depth knowledge of the financial services industry and data ecosystem.
  • Data modeling expertise and ability to move from conceptual to logical to physical implementation.
  • Practical cloud-native experience.
  • Experience using AI tools to define requirements, shape design, and harvest and create metadata.

  • Design data models for analytics and AI readiness, including stable identifiers, entity resolution, history, feature-friendly structures, and clear semantics for retrieval and grounding.
  • Define standards for interoperability and evolution, including schema evolution, versioning, deprecation, and backward compatibility across warehouses, lakehouses, APIs, and BI platforms.
