This role involves working with product owners and business SMEs to understand functional and data requirements for implementations. The goal is to build Logical Data Models that reflect these requirements and can be used by technologists to build fit-for-purpose solutions. The position actively seeks to expand and mature the content of Business Information Models by leveraging analysis and modeling done on implementations. The Senior Lead Data Architect will work with Information Architecture leadership to ensure best practice data modeling standards and guidelines are followed by BIMs and implementation LDMs. This role engages technical teams and business stakeholders to discuss and propose information architecture approaches to meet current and future needs. It also identifies opportunities to intersect with other Data Management functions to improve metadata, consistency of definitions, and end-to-end data lifecycle management. The role participates in information architecture governance bodies, evaluates information architecture recommendations, and provides feedback to stakeholders. The Senior Lead Data Architect executes creative information architecture solutions, design, development, and technical troubleshooting, with the ability to think beyond routine or conventional approaches to build solutions and break down technical problems. They identify opportunities to eliminate or automate remediation of recurring issues and facilitate evaluation sessions of data models with relevant stakeholders to drive positive outcomes through probing of functional & data requirements, definitions, and validation rules.
