About The Position

As the Senior Lead - Creative Director, Campaigns, you will own the creative strategy and execution of high-impact regional campaigns across North America, ensuring On’s brand vision is translated into disruptive and culturally resonant storytelling. Reporting to the Head of Creative Studio on the Americas Creative Studio team, you will support the AMER region by elevating brand image and driving deep connection with diverse athlete and community hubs. You will lead the creative journey from concept to delivery, balancing entrepreneurial innovation with operational excellence to safeguard On’s premium positioning while leading and developing a high-performing creative team.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in creative roles, including conceptual creative development and copywriting, within a premium global brand or a leading creative agency focusing on omnichannel consumer experiences
  • 2+ years of direct people leadership experience, having managed creative pods or teams responsible for multi-channel campaign delivery and talent development
  • Demonstrate a high degree of entrepreneurial innovation, having successfully challenged status quo creative to deliver results in high-pressure, fast-paced environments
  • Experience in end-to-end campaign development, from conceptual thinking to team leadership, bringing ideas through execution and launch
  • Act as a multiplier, not the star; raise others up, give honest feedback, and create conditions where people can do their best work
  • Deep expertise in the North American market, with a proven ability to synthesize diverse community interests into impactful visual and narrative content
  • Track record of mastering complexity by managing creative budgets and external agency partnerships to deliver premium quality outcomes
  • Maintain expert proficiency in digital creative tools and stay ahead of emerging trends to ensure On remains at the forefront of design and technology

Responsibilities

  • Lead the end-to-end creative development for regional North American campaigns and integrated marketing initiatives to drive brand heat and commercial success
  • Empower and coach a high-performing campaign creative team, creating the conditions for individuals to grow and do their best work.
  • Lead through others: building trust, removing barriers and enabling teams across the organization to execute the brand with excellence.
  • Partner with marketing leads and global creative teams to align regional storytelling with global brand pillars
  • Direct creative approval across all North American touchpoints, ensuring a cohesive brand voice and visual identity from digital and social to retail rollout
  • Develop innovative creative concepts that solve complex business challenges while pushing the boundaries of traditional performance marketing
  • Preserve the integrity of core creative ideas by collaborating closely with designers and production teams to achieve premium execution
  • Maintain stakeholder alignment by presenting clear, evidence-based creative directions to senior regional leadership
  • Identify and mitigate potential creative roadblocks by partnering with Studio Management to ensure resource optimization and on-time delivery
