About The Position

This is a hybrid-based position in our Blue Bell, PA or Princeton, NJ office. The role involves providing technical and project leadership for environmental investigation and remediation projects in the New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and New York Metropolitan areas. The selected candidate will lead and support multidisciplinary teams working closely with Professional Engineers (PEs), Professional Geologists (PGs), Licensed Site Remediation Professionals (LSRPs) and other technical specialists. As a senior member of the team, you will apply your technical expertise and professional judgment to guide site investigation and remediation strategies, oversee field programs and data evaluation, prepare and review technical deliverables, and support regulatory and client communications. You will also provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior and mid-level staff while helping ensure projects are completed efficiently, safely, and in accordance with applicable regulatory requirements. The position provides opportunities to work on a diverse range of projects involving geologic and environmental investigations, conceptual site model development, remedial strategy and design, data evaluation and modeling, regulatory compliance and technical reporting.

Requirements

Lead/oversee engineering tasks for key projects/programs, including Remedial Investigations, Feasibility Studies, Remedial Designs/Actions, post-remediation OM&M, and Pre-Design Investigations/remediation (excavation, system installation, injections).
Provide engineering support for contaminated soil, sediment, surface water, and groundwater remediation, including excavation, capping, containment, in-situ/ex-situ treatment, and subsurface vapor mitigation.
Oversee/review field and project documentation and track scope, schedule, and budget; independently develop scopes of work, cost estimates, project setup, invoicing, and closeout.
Serve as a key technical client/stakeholder contact; communicate findings, recommendations, project status, and emerging issues; participate in client meetings and collaborate with LSRPs/technical leads to develop practical solutions.
Coordinate technical/regulatory documents (reports, work plans, remedial designs/specifications, completion reports, permits, NJ ARRCS); mentor Early-Career/Mid-Level Engineers and support team capabilities and technical best practices.
Ability to travel to work locations, typically in PA, NJ, and NY. Occasional overnight travel may be required; however, the position is primarily office-based
Ability to independently manage and prioritize multiple projects with competing deadlines, while maintaining project quality, schedule, and budget expectations
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, demonstrated ability to clearly communicate technical information to clients, regulators, project teams, and other stakeholders
Strong interpersonal and leadership skills, with a demonstrated client focus and ability to build effective working relationships, collaborate across multidisciplinary teams, and mentor and support junior staff.
