We're seeking a Senior Laboratory Technician to perform analytical testing, maintain laboratory instrumentation, and support our quality-driven laboratory operations. This role offers the opportunity to develop expertise across multiple laboratory techniques while working with state-of-the-art equipment in a collaborative environment.

Requirements

  • Associate's degree or equivalent in Chemistry or related scientific field
  • 3+ years analytical laboratory experience using state-of-the-art analytical instrumentation or techniques
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work well in a team environment
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Proficiency with Google Workspace and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Knowledge of laboratory safety, chemical handling, scientific concepts, and analytical testing equipment
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to work in a high-volume laboratory testing environment
  • Developing skills in problem solving and process improvements

Nice To Haves

  • B.S. or B.A. degree in Chemistry or related scientific field
  • 5+ years analytical laboratory experience
  • Experience with LabWare or similar LIMS
  • Experience in ISO 9001 (or similar) certified organizations
  • Developing skills in spectroscopy, mass spectrometry, spectrophotometry, microscopy, electrochemistry, filtrations, extractions, gravimetry, metallography, or chromatography

Responsibilities

  • Perform routine laboratory testing and support activities per Standard Operating Procedures
  • Calibrate and maintain laboratory instrumentation and equipment
  • Manage inventory for required operating materials
  • Ensure compliance with Quality Management System (QMS) and Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) requirements
  • Complete assigned tasks efficiently and meet established deadlines
  • Support other laboratory areas as needed.
