About The Position
The Senior Laboratory Assistant at Providence St. Jude Medical Center in Fullerton, CA is a full-time position working 8-hour Day shifts. Requirements
- Upon hire: California Certified Phlebotomy Technician I License
- Upon hire: California Certified Phlebotomy Technician II License

Responsibilities
- Collections and processing of blood specimens
- Providing assessment and care for neonate, pediatric, adult, and geriatric in-patients, emergency room patients, and patients from other hospital services as needed
- Assist as necessary with outpatient specimen collection and processing
- Inoculation of microbiology specimens onto primary media
- Processing of specimens for referral testing
- Proficient in required competencies
