About The Position

We are seeking a Senior Kotlin Developer to join our team in Atlanta, GA. This role is focused on designing and building server-side applications that support mobile platforms. You will be responsible for developing and maintaining Backend for Frontend (BFF) APIs, writing and optimizing clean, maintainable code, and improving system performance. The position involves working with asynchronous code, distributed systems, and integrating with legacy backend systems and custom services. You will also contribute to CI pipelines, build tooling, and perform bug fixes and modernization efforts. A key aspect of this role is developing and maintaining unit tests and designing solutions for complex technical problems within a collaborative, cross-functional team environment.

Requirements

Strong experience building server-side applications
Solid experience with REST APIs
Experience with GraphQL
Proficiency in Java and/or Kotlin
Experience with Gradle build tools
Experience working with asynchronous programming models
Strong debugging and performance optimization skills
Experience working with legacy systems
Unit testing experience
Experience working in a collaborative team environment
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience)
