Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Senior Joint Fires Integration SME Site Lead to join our team! In this role the Site Lead anchors the team as the senior on-site integrator and primary customer interface, and sets the bar for the three SMEs. Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree and 10+ years of military experience, including 5+ years in staff planning, capabilities, strategy, or operational technology.
  • 8+ years in joint kinetic and/or non-kinetic fires, targeting, or intelligence, with COCOM or joint-staff-level experience.
  • Demonstrated JADO and joint planning expertise, with working knowledge of the joint targeting cycle and F2T2EA.
  • Experience planning, observing, or assessing joint exercises and translating observations into lessons learned and process improvements.
  • Proven ability to act as a senior customer interface and translate ambiguous customer intent into requirements, TTPs, and CONOPs.
  • Excellent written and oral communication, knowledge management, and operational assessment skills.
  • U.S. citizen.
  • Active Top Secret clearance with eligibility for Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI).

Nice To Haves

  • Weapons School and/or PME graduate; Joint Targeting Course or Target Development Course.
  • Prior combatant command or joint staff experience in a fires or operations role.
  • Familiarity with JFN, IJFC, CJADC2, and ABMS.
  • Familiarity with Maven Smart System (MSS) and its associated tool suites
  • Familiarity with one or more of: Service and component fires enterprises, Air Operations Center (AOC) operations, and C5ISR (Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Cyber, Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance) integration.
  • Experience supporting joint capability development, experimentation, or assessment efforts.
  • Supervisory or team-lead experience on a government services contract.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary liaison between the contractor team and government leadership, including the supported J32 Joint Fires Division and HQ USPACOM's J3 Joint Fires Division and IJFC, providing input and coordination for TTPs, CONOPs, policies, and workflows.
  • Identify, analyze, and articulate requirements and supporting products for planning and operational execution, integrating across Services, Allies, and Partner Nations within the joint fires enterprise.
  • Integrate lessons learned and best practices from comparable joint fires modernization efforts across combatant commands to inform the supported command's capability development.
  • Provide JADO subject-matter expertise grounded in joint and Service doctrine (e.g., JP 3-0 joint operations and JADO fundamentals, AFDP 3-0, AFDP 3-60) to shape the cell's processes and products.
  • Track joint targeting cycles and battle rhythms across combatant commands to maintain the global-integration perspective that links kinetic and non-kinetic effects.
  • Engage DoD stakeholders and support joint exercises, experimentation, and constructive, virtual, and live events, including exercise observation, data capture, and lessons-learned integration.
  • Supervise and integrate the work of the team's targeting, integration, and assessment SMEs; own deliverable quality and customer reporting.
