The Senior Job Captain is in the critical position of leading the creation and coordination of the documents that bring the design story into built form. Balancing both a design sensibility and a focus on technical savvy, the Senior Job Captain directs internal staff members, coordinates with consultants, and knits the project inspiration to the project documents, creating outstanding places for people to live in.

Requirements

  • Knows every single sheet in the documentation.
  • Must have a design sensibility and focus on technical savvy.
  • Must be able to lead the creation and coordination of documents.
  • Must be able to direct internal staff members.
  • Must be able to coordinate with consultants.
  • Must be able to knit project inspiration to project documents.
  • Must be able to master internal workflow, order, timeline and tasks to reach project milestones effectively and efficiently.
  • Must be able to act as the collector for project criteria and design story by collaborating with junior and senior team members.
  • Must be able to work to become a trusted team resource for the coordination of the technical execution of the design.
  • Must be able to develop expertise in connecting with clients and consultants for the benefit of the project.
