About The Position

Build software that can handle serious data. Enhance a Spring Boot and Angular application processing terabytes each week, and help prepare it for Kubernetes deployment. The mission is to support secure mission systems through software engineering, infrastructure integration, networking and dependable operational services.

Requirements

• 14 years of relevant experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related discipline from an accredited college or university
• Java enterprise development with Spring Boot or similar frameworks
• Angular or comparable frontend frameworks
• REST APIs
• Oracle, PostgreSQL, MariaDB or similar relational databases
• Docker or Podman
• Kubernetes deployments
• Application modernization
• Technical documentation
• Active TS/SCI with polygraph security clearance
• Ability to live within commuting distance of Annapolis Junction, MD

• Rancher, Amazon EKS, OpenShift or other CNCF-compliant Kubernetes platforms

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Java and Angular features
• Build REST services and optimize relational data access
• Support modernization and containerized deployments
• Create tests and maintain CI/CD workflows
• Contribute to architecture, code reviews and documentation
• Provide backup database administration and cross-train for continuity
