About The Position
We are looking for a Senior Developer to join our team and contribute to a high-performing backend project within the Banking Industry. This role requires participation in a rotating on-call shift schedule from Monday to Sunday. This means being on standby outside of standard working hours and available to log in and resolve critical system incidents if they arise. The approximate rotation frequency is one full week (7 consecutive days) every 3 to 4 months.
Requirements
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in a similar role.
- Advanced J2EE, Springboot and Apache Kafka expertise is mandatory.
- Microservices architecture, Spring Boot, Functional Programming, Java (Version 8 and above), JPA, and Testing methodologies (TDD or BDD).
- Software Design and Architecture patterns.
- Experience with Databases (PostgreSQL, Oracle, MongoDB, etc.).
- Familiarity or working experience with Agile Methodologies (Scrum).
- English language proficiency: Minimum B2 level.
Nice To Haves
- Basic notions of API design and specification (OpenAPI 3 / OAS3).
- Any additional technical knowledge or skills that can contribute value to the project will be highly appreciated.
- Basic knowledge of Reactive Programming is highly valued.
