About The Position

This is a temporary project role for a Senior Java Full Stack Engineer in Austin, TX, with an estimated duration of 12+ months and possible extensions. The position requires a hybrid work setting, with 2 days per week onsite at the Client's site. Candidates must be able to relocate as required. The role involves making updates to the SCOR Java application, including business logic, user interface, reporting capabilities, and the system data model. It also includes supporting application enhancements, defect corrections, and maintaining code coverage, testing, and security policies. On-call support may be required.

Requirements

• Availability to work 2 days per week at the Client's site in Austin, TX
• Experience with Object Oriented Programming (OOP) in Java (8+ years)
• Experience with Applications development on J2EE platform (8+ years)
• Experience with Writing SQL for relational databases (8+ years)
• Experience with RESTful web services on Spring platform (8+ years)
• Experience with Spring Aspect Oriented Programming (AOP) including transaction management and security (8+ years)
• Experience with JUnit and Unit Test development (8+ years)

Nice To Haves

• Experience with Angular UI Framework (4+ years)
• Experience with Crystal Reports (4+ years)
• Experience with PowerBI (4+ years)

Responsibilities

• Make updates to the SCOR Java application including changes to business logic, updates to the user interface, and extending reporting capabilities and the system data model
• Support application enhancements and defect corrections in maintenance mode
• Support applications in multiple environments with coding, testing, peer reviews, documentation, defect root cause analysis, and troubleshooting as required
• Maintain code coverage, testing, and security policies and procedures
• Available for on-call support as needed
• Other duties as assigned and required by the unit operations
