About The Position

ZipStaff is seeking an experienced Java Full Stack Engineer for a global technology services firm. The role focuses on developing, integrating, deploying, and supporting enterprise applications using Java, Spring Boot, Angular, TypeScript, Node.js, AWS, REST APIs, GraphQL, microservices, and CI/CD. The position involves working in a hybrid, customer-facing environment in Plano, Texas, with an on-site interview required. This is a six-month contract engagement.

Requirements

At least 8 years of software development experience.
Strong hands-on experience with Java 21 and Spring Boot 3.
Experience with Angular 18, TypeScript, and Node.js.
Proficiency with REST APIs, GraphQL, and OpenAPI.
Experience with microservices and distributed/event-driven architecture.
Strong AWS experience, including Lambda, Step Functions, ECS/Fargate, EventBridge, API Gateway, DynamoDB, and S3.
Hands-on experience with JPA/Hibernate and SQL.
Knowledge of OAuth 2.0/OIDC, IAM, and API security.
Experience with Docker and CI/CD.
Strong debugging and production-support experience.
Ability to work hybrid/on-site in Plano, Texas; an on-site interview is required.

Nice To Haves

Experience with RxJS, Angular Material, AG Grid, and Module Federation.
Familiarity with Terraform, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, and Helm.
Knowledge of Microsoft Entra ID and MSAL.
Experience with Oracle and DynamoDB.
Exposure to GitHub Copilot or AI-assisted development.
Background with legacy Java technologies such as Struts 2, JNDI, or WAR/EAR.
Automotive industry experience.

Responsibilities

Design and develop modern Angular and TypeScript applications.
Build Java/Spring Boot and Node.js APIs and microservices.
Develop and integrate REST and GraphQL services.
Design and support AWS-based distributed workflows.
Implement secure authentication and authorization.
Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines.
Perform unit, integration, and contract testing.
Troubleshoot application and cloud production issues.
Support existing Java applications while contributing to modernization initiatives.
