About The Position

We are seeking an experienced Java Architect / Senior Java Developer to lead design and development efforts for the Environmental & Social Business Advisory Portal. This role requires strong technical expertise in Java, full-stack development, database optimization, and containerization, along with leadership skills and the ability to collaborate across geographically distributed teams. Two potential openings on Legal Ops side- Public Policy team and integration work with Vendor Systems.

Requirements

10+ years of experience in Java development (Java 8 or higher preferred)
Hands-on experience with Spring Boot, Spring MVC, and Spring Batch
Strong Core Java skills
Experience in building REST APIs (JAX-RS/Swagger/YAML)
Experience in Web Services (JAX-RPC or JAX-WS)
Working knowledge of security protocols – OAuth 2
Knowledge of XML Schema and Processing Technologies (Parsers, JAXB, XSLT, etc.)
Good understanding of Core Java Patterns and J2EE Design Patterns (Adapters, Business Objects, Delegates, Service Locator, Singleton, DAO, DTO)
Experience with Apache and Tomcat
Experience with Horizon tool set (Bitbucket/Jenkins/Artifactory/Ansible)
Knowledge of build tools and processes like Maven, Ant, and others
Working knowledge of test automation using SOA Test, Litmus, etc.
Knowledge of Unix/Linux Shell Scripting
Containerization experience (Docker, Kubernetes, or similar)
Full-stack development experience with strong hands-on coding skills
Database expertise: Oracle SQL/PLSQL, schema design, query optimization, performance tuning
Ability to troubleshoot and optimize complex queries and stored procedures
Highly organized and self-motivated with the ability to prioritize projects and meet deadlines
Excellent communication and influencing skills
Ability to coordinate and lead geographically spread teams
Excellent interpersonal skills; positive attitude; team player; flexible
Willingness to learn and adapt to changes and technologies

Nice To Haves

Experience with PEGA / Appian / Camunda
Experience with messaging systems – MQ/Kafka
