About The Position

We are hiring for multiple Senior Java Backend Developers to join a newly established DevOps team building a next-generation cloud-native platform for connected vehicle services. You will help develop a scalable backend platform responsible for application distribution and integrations across connected vehicles in Europe and North America. Working with modern technologies including Java, Spring Boot, Kubernetes, Azure, and microservices, you'll take ownership of services throughout their entire lifecycle—from development and deployment to monitoring and continuous improvement. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a highly collaborative engineering environment alongside Product Owners, Solution Architects, Security Architects, SREs, and cross-functional development teams while building large-scale cloud-native solutions.

Requirements

• Minimum 5+ years of professional experience in Java backend development.
• Strong experience with Java and Spring Boot.
• Experience building RESTful APIs and microservices.
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes and containerized applications.
• Experience working with Microsoft Azure cloud services.
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, monitoring, and DevOps practices.
• Experience working in Agile or SAFe development environments.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Fluent English, both written and spoken.

Nice To Haves

• Experience working on automotive software platforms.
• Front-end development experience.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain backend services using Java and Spring Boot.
• Build scalable cloud-native microservices running on Kubernetes.
• Develop and maintain REST APIs supporting connected vehicle services.
• Participate throughout the complete software lifecycle, from development to production operations.
• Collaborate closely with Product Owners, Architects, Security teams, SREs, and fellow developers.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines and contribute to DevOps best practices.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and continuously improve production services.
• Participate in Agile/SAFe ceremonies and technical planning.
