About The Position

We are seeking a Senior IT Systems Analyst to lead vulnerability management efforts across a complex enterprise environment. This role is responsible for overseeing Veracode scanning results (SAST, SCA, and DAST) for approximately 100 web applications, as well as managing vulnerability data within ServiceNow’s Vulnerability Management platform for ~1,400 servers and an expanding container footprint. The analyst will also serve as a key liaison between application/support teams and Mayo Clinic’s OIS/VSPM security teams. Working across both legacy and modern platforms, this person will serve as a security steward for both the Lab Technology and MCS Technology domains. The goal of this role is to drive a shift from reactive remediation to proactive vulnerability management through improved visibility, coordination, and accountability. Assists with and participates in leadership, coordination and management of activities required to operate, direct or advise a Mayo department or equivalent organizational structure. Coordinates project, division and/or department budgets and provides appropriate financial reports and metrics for making department decisions. Independently manages multiple large-scale internal business projects or single department-scale projects from inception to close, including resource management, risk identification and mitigation, quality assurance and change control. Must have broad knowledge of IT systems and interrelated technical processes in order to make necessary decisions regarding hardware, software or technology agreements. May serve as subject matter expert for requirements gathering for industry proposals on behalf of Mayo Clinic. Routinely interfaces with department committees and executive leadership and provides performance reports with strategic recommendations. May serve as liaison for industry partnerships or as a representative for Mayo Clinic in national industry events. Ensures communication between and among business proponents, stakeholders and Leadership regarding assignments. Leads or contributes to the improvement of established guidelines, tools, templates and methodologies. Demonstrates effective group facilitation, team building and conflict resolution skills. Develops proposals and business plans that ensure quality IT solutions and delivery.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree with 5 years technology or business administration experience, OR Associate's degree with 7 years technology or business administration experience.
  • Excellent communication, organization, problem solving and facilitation skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills including conflict resolution.
  • Demonstrated history of continuing education in personnel and administrative processes.
  • Strong understanding of financial concepts, business process, continuous improvement and organizational development.
  • Demonstrated mastery of all requirements detailed in the Systems Analyst job description.
  • Experience working in healthcare technology.
  • Experience with committee and consensus driven organizations.
  • Experience in finance and project management.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business Management or related field preferred.
  • Veracode & Veracode Scanning, ServiceNow, SDLC, and familiarity with Cloud & Containers a plus.
