About The Position

Our client is seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Senior IT Support Specialist to join our dynamic IT team. This role serves as a Tier 2-3 technical support resource, addressing complex user issues and ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of hardware, software, and network systems. The ideal candidate will have strong troubleshooting abilities, exceptional communication skills, and a passion for delivering exceptional service.

Requirements

  • Proficient in diagnosing and resolving issues related to Windows OS, Microsoft Office Suite, networking, and hardware.
  • Experience working with electronic help desk/ticketing systems.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with a focus on user satisfaction.

Nice To Haves

  • Associate’s degree or equivalent technical training in Information Technology or a related field.
  • Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate, or Cisco CCNA are a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Provide advanced troubleshooting and resolution for escalated hardware, software, and network issues.
  • Diagnose and resolve system problems; escalate unresolved issues to appropriate vendors or higher-tier support when necessary.
  • Monitor and maintain computer systems, peripherals, and IT infrastructure to ensure peak performance.
  • Onboard new users, manage permissions, and resolve IT access requests efficiently.
  • Educate users on best practices in hardware, software, and system usage to promote self-sufficiency.
  • Contribute to the continual improvement of service delivery standards and operational efficiency.
  • Maintain accurate records of IT equipment and software licenses.
  • Provide support outside of regular business hours, as required by team schedules or urgent needs.
  • Overseeing daily IT Department Operations & Performance
  • May supervise IT staff and contribute to performance development
  • Partner with IT Directors and Managers to develop and implement standards
