Senior IT Specialist

Rezilient HealthSt. Louis, MO
Hybrid

About The Position

We're looking for an IT professional with deep technical expertise and a proven track record of designing, scaling, and securing complex infrastructure. In this senior role, you'll serve as a technical subject matter expert — supporting the architecture and operational health of the technology that powers our CloudClinics and enabling us to grow at a rapid pace. You'll go beyond day-to-day support to proactively identify systemic improvements, execute on cross-functional initiatives, and ensure our tech stack is scalable and secure as we continue to grow. If you're someone who thrives in a fast-paced, agile environment, has strong opinions on how systems should be built while maintaining a sense of adaptability, and can balance hands-on technical work with strategic thinking, you'll be a great fit. Please note that our ideal candidate will be based in St. Louis, Indianapolis, or North Carolina. This role requires routine travel both to our HQ in St. Louis, MO and to new clinic locations to ensure a smooth go-live. If you are based in St. Louis, you'll work at our HQ in Webster Groves. If you are based in Indianapolis or North Carolina, you'll primarily work remotely.

  • Strong experience with Linux, macOS, and Windows environments at an administrative level.
  • Deep expertise in computer and networking hardware, including routers, switches, modems, access points, firewalls, and VPN technologies.
  • Advanced knowledge of TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, VLAN configuration, and network security principles.
  • Hands-on experience with Active Directory and Google Workspace administration.
  • Demonstrated proficiency with MDM solutions (e.g., Jamf, Intune, or equivalent).
  • Proficiency in shell/bash scripting and Python for automation and tooling — required.
  • Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible, or equivalent).
  • Familiarity with cloud networking and security concepts (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve ambiguous, high-impact issues independently.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to translate complex technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders.

  • ITIL v4 certification or equivalent experience with ITIL-based service management practices is highly preferred.
  • Experience with endpoint security tools and security frameworks (e.g., SOC 2, HIPAA compliance considerations) is a strong plus.
