Senior IT Specialist
About The Position
Weee! is the largest and fastest-growing ethnic e-grocer in the United States, operating in one of the largest underserved categories in retail with affordable access to exciting ethnic food. By partnering with local suppliers, redesigning the value chain and leveraging social buying, Weee! is reshaping the grocery business entirely. This role is onsite 5 days a week in LA Mirada, CA. As a warehouse IT specialist, you will be responsible for helping us design, deploy, implement, and maintain warehouse networks, security camera systems, badge systems, alarm systems, printers, desktops, laptops, and other IT assets. A successful candidate should have experience in IT project coordination, a solid technical background, and strong organizational and analytical skills.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or equivalent
- 8+ years of relevant work experience in IT and networking
- Excellent network skills, such as managing IT server rooms and network switches/firewalls.
- Excellent computer troubleshooting skills (Windows, Mac OS).
- Possesses exceptional analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Implement and maintain a security camera system & badge system.
- Nimble and patient with good communication skills.
- Works independently without supervision
Nice To Haves
- Warehouse-related IT support experience is preferred.
- CCNP or equivalent
Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional Tier 2 IT support for warehouse operations, including network, laptop/desktop/server, warehouse badge/alarm system, barcode & Wi-Fi printer, scanner, touch screen, PDA, UPS, and other IT-related equipment.
- Manage IT equipment inventory, IT assets, and in-house Warehouse Management System (WMS) user access privileges.
- Perform Weekly, Monthly, Quarterly, and Yearly IT and Warehouse Inspections.
- Inspect, audit, maintain, and repair/replace all IT equipment to ensure it is in good working condition.
- Design, document, deploy, install, maintain, and support IT infrastructure, including WAN/LAN networks, Access Points, MDF/IDF, video conferencing systems, SAN/NAS, surveillance systems, security cameras, and warehouse system-related IT servers, storage, and applications.
- Manage employee onboarding and offboarding.
- Create and design complex floor plans and elevation diagrams for building, MDF/IDF and IT Infrastructure.
- Create complex project plans for IT Infrastructure and buildouts.
- Create standardized IT Warehouse processes and operational procedures.
- Write SOPs and user manuals and provide IT training to end users.
- Participate in the local implementation of HQ projects as needed.
- Other projects or tasks assigned by IT and Warehouse Managers and/or /Directors
