About The Position

Seeking a Senior IT Project Manager for a remote position to support systems serving OPM users, focusing on migration to cloud-based and agile operations. This role serves as the lead project manager for a large, complex BPA Call (or a group of BPA Calls affecting the same common/standard/migration system). The individual will assist the Program Manager in collaborating with the ordering activity Contracting Officer (CO), the BPA-level Contracting Officer’s Representative (COR), the BPA Call-level COR(s), ordering activity management personnel, and customer agency representatives. Under the Program Manager's guidance, the Senior IT Project Manager is responsible for the overall management of the specific BPA Call(s), ensuring timely implementation of technical solutions and schedules. The role also involves performing enterprise-wide horizontal integration planning and managing interfaces to other functional systems.

Requirements

• BA/BS degree in an associated discipline and a minimum of 10 years of directly related experience OR a minimum of 14 years of directly related experience.
• MA/MS or MBA degree with a minimum of 8 years of directly related experience OR PhD with a minimum of 7 years of directly related experience.
• Certified Project Management Professional

Responsibilities

• Under the guidance of the Program Manager, be responsible for the overall management of the specific BPA Call(s).
• Ensure that the technical solutions and schedules in the BPA Call are implemented in a timely manner.
• Perform enterprise wide horizontal integration planning.
• Manage interfaces to other functional systems.
