About The Position

Seeking a highly experienced Project Manager to coordinate and monitor the delivery of public project-oriented work efforts for the Florida SHOTS initiative. In this onsite role, you will be responsible for managing the implementation of immunization provider electronic health records (EHR), overseeing user training, and managing the outward-facing Florida SHOTS website. You will ensure compliance with planning, tasks, and deadlines as designated by the Client.

Requirements

Master’s degree (preferred) or bachelor’s degree in health care, business, or Information Technology.
Minimum of 10 years’ experience managing complex projects with multiple stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
Understanding of the health care industry and Florida IIS; basic understanding of private physician immunization practices and EMR/EHR software is a plus.
Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills, with the capacity to multitask and handle simultaneous deadlines.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills for stakeholder engagement and training delivery.
Demonstrated expertise in developing project plans, managing resources, tracking milestones, managing scope/budget, and facilitating stakeholder communication.
Proficiency in MS Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Ability and willingness to travel as needed.

Responsibilities

Establish and implement processes to ensure Florida SHOTS public projects meet deadlines, budget requirements, and quality standards.
Assign tasks, track milestones, and manage resources for the outward-facing Florida SHOTS website.
Oversee daily work efforts of the EHR and training teams, ensuring the successful delivery of live and recorded training sessions.
Provide training to Florida’s immunization providers and requesting Immunization section personnel.
Monitor and report project status weekly, identifying issues and facilitating communication between the team and support staff.
Develop comprehensive monthly project plans detailing timelines, milestones, and resource allocations.
Track key project metrics monthly, including milestone completion, resource utilization, and budget adherence.
Lead monthly strategic planning meetings, weekly team meetings, and stakeholder alignment sessions.
Conduct monthly quality reviews of deliverables and implement corrective actions.
Oversee the maintenance of training guides, resource materials, and announcements.
Create and field an annual web-based Florida SHOTS survey, building a user analysis to identify process improvements and successes.
Strictly adhere to all Department data security and confidentiality procedures.
