About The Position

For one of our clients in the banking sector, we are looking for a Senior IT Project Manager. In this role, you will lead a large-scale Big Data platform migration or vendor replacement project. Previous experience as a PM in Large-Scale platform migration or vendor replacement projects specifically in the Hadoop / Cloudera domain is a must-have and needs to be clearly outlined in your CV.

Requirements

• Proven track record in leading a Large-Scale Platform Migration or vendor replacement project within the Hadoop / Cloudera domain.
• Strong risk & issue management skills.
• Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail; ability to synthesize complex information into clear, actionable insights.
• Outstanding communication skills: able to engage, drive follow-up actions, and bring clarity in both verbal and written communication.
• Excellent stakeholder and executive stakeholder management skills.
• Fluent English and native Polish, both spoken and written.

Responsibilities

• Coordinating the vendor change as a Project Manager.
• Planning and managing delivery activities, including timelines, dependencies, resources, and risks.
• Planning and managing the budget and financial forecasting of the project.
• Monitoring and reporting delivery progress and risks, proactively identifying issues, and escalating where needed to ensure predictable execution.
• Upholding project management discipline by promoting a strong delivery culture.
• Running project team meetings.
• Delivering progress reporting and SteerCo reporting.
