About The Position
Trissential is hiring a Senior IT Project Manager to join our client’s team and lead cross‑functional, business‑ and IT‑facing initiatives from start to finish. This role is ideal for a delivery‑focused PM who enjoys bringing structure to complex work, aligning diverse stakeholders, and ensuring projects move forward with confidence and predictability—without being hands‑on technically. This role offers high-visibility work, true ownership, a collaborative culture, and a balanced work model with a hybrid schedule and no overtime or on-call expectations.
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional experience as a Project Manager in IT or technology‑driven environments
- Strong project planning, execution, and delivery management skills
- Proven experience managing budgets, forecasts, and financial variance
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence and align stakeholders
- Experience coordinating cross‑functional teams and third‑party vendors
- Strong organizational skills with a proactive, delivery‑focused mindset
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience
Nice To Haves
- Experience supporting End User Services or workplace technology initiatives
- Exposure to large enterprise or highly matrixed organizations
- Familiarity with formal PM governance frameworks (PMO standards, stage gates, etc.)
- PMP or similar project management certification
Responsibilities
- Lead projects from initiation through closure, ensuring scope, schedule, and budget adherence
- Define and manage project milestones, dependencies, and delivery roadmaps
- Build and maintain detailed project plans, work breakdown structures, and forecasts
- Own financial tracking, budget management, and variance reporting
- Coordinate internal teams and external vendors to meet delivery commitments
- Facilitate working sessions, status meetings, and decision‑making forums
- Serve as the central point of connection between business partners, IT teams, vendors, and leadership
- Identify, track, and resolve risks, issues, and cross‑team dependencies
- Proactively escalate risks that may impact delivery, scope, or financial targets
- Provide clear, concise status updates and documentation for leadership and stakeholders
- Ensure alignment with established project management standards and governance
- Drive accountability for commitments and delivery outcomes
