About The Position

Tyson Foods, Inc. has multiple openings for Senior IT Product Owners in Springdale, AR. With a focus on IT solution products that consist of artificial intelligence (AI) technologies, collaborate with product managers and cross-functional teams to define product vision, strategy, and roadmap aligned with business objectives and market needs. Leverage analytical skills to assist in gathering market insights, conducting user research, and prioritizing features to drive product development and innovation. Support the execution of product initiatives, assisting in coordinating activities such as sprint planning, backlog grooming, and user acceptance testing. Conduct market research and competitive analysis to understand market trends, customer needs, and competitor offerings. Identify, analyze, design, and implement artificial intelligence and automation solutions for use in the food manufacturing industry. Assist in creating and maintaining the product roadmap, defining features, and releasing timelines based on business objectives and user needs. Work closely with stakeholders, including customers, sales, marketing, and engineering teams, to gather and prioritize product requirements. Continuously seek opportunities for improvement, gathering feedback from users and stakeholders to iterate on product features and enhance the overall user experience. 5% domestic travel required.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Robotics, Artificial Intelligence, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
  • 1 year of related experience.
  • 1 year of experience in Artificial Intelligence.
  • 1 year of experience utilizing Agile products and Waterfall methodologies.
  • 1 year of experience with Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) development tools.
  • 1 year of experience applying Artificial Intelligence technologies in a food production operational environment.

Responsibilities
