About The Position

Based in Toronto, the Senior IT Operations Analyst will serve as a senior individual contributor on the IT Operations team, taking ownership of business critical systems and driving continuous improvement of Sagard's IT and cybersecurity environment. The selected candidate will act as a senior technical resource ensuring that all systems remain highly available, resilient, and secure, and will play a leading role in implementing new IT and cybersecurity capabilities and projects across the Sagard ecosystem.

Requirements

  • 3 to 5 years of experience in an IT support or IT operations role
  • Postsecondary diploma or degree (or equivalent work experience)
  • Demonstrated experience administering enterprise cloud-based platforms (e.g., Google Workspace, Zoom, 1Password, Freshservice, Slack)
  • Demonstrated experience leading or contributing meaningfully to IT or cybersecurity projects
  • Strong proficiency in English

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a senior point of escalation for complex technical support issues across all Sagard staff and offices, performing advanced troubleshooting and root cause analysis
  • Own and maintain all on-premise hardware, devices and workstations in the Toronto office, and provide senior-level remote and onsite support to other offices and remote employees
  • Lead full lifecycle management of hardware and software, including procurement strategy, deployment, asset inventory, and decommissioning
  • Administer and optimize enterprise cloud-based platforms including Google Workspace, Zoom, 1Password, Freshservice, and Slack, covering system updates, account lifecycle, group configuration, and platform customization
  • Lead the technical onboarding and offboarding process for employees, including device provisioning, deprovisioning, and access management
  • Partner with the IT Operations team to implement new IT and cybersecurity capabilities, contributing to project planning, execution, and post-implementation review
  • Identify and lead initiatives to improve IT processes, automation, and end-user experience
  • Track and report IT metrics and dashboards to management, surfacing insights and recommendations to inform decision-making
