About The Position

This role involves monitoring, triaging, and responding to security alerts and incidents across various security tools. The engineer will support vulnerability management, create processes to improve system efficiency, and manage corporate hardware, operating systems, software, and security tools. The position also includes providing IT and InfoSec support, liaising with vendors, analyzing business requirements to develop IT solutions, supporting security roadmap projects, and promoting security awareness through training.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years of combined experience in IT operations and information security, with hands-on exposure to cloud software environments.
  • Experience with platform management (Mac, Linux, or a combination thereof) and workstation management tooling such as Jamf, Iru, or Datto.
  • Extensive experience with Google Workspace, including Mobile Device Management within Google Workspace.
  • Experience installing, configuring, and operating security tooling, including endpoint security tools (CrowdStrike Falcon, SentinelOne, Windows Defender, etc.), cloud security tools (CSPM. CNAPP, etc.), email security tools (Mimecast, ProofPoint, Abnormal, etc.), and SIEM platforms (Rapid7, Datadog, Microsoft Sentinel, etc.).
  • Extensive knowledge of information security fundamentals, including device encryption, anti-virus tooling, digital certificates, and security policies.
  • Experience with AWS and cloud systems, including virtualization and containerization.
  • Proven strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively across technical and non-technical teams.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with scripting or automation (Python, Go, or similar).
  • Experience with security orchestration and automation tooling.
  • Familiarity with incident response processes and forensic investigation.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor, triage, and respond to security alerts, incidents, and investigations across endpoint, cloud, and email security tooling.
  • Support vulnerability management efforts, including scanning, prioritization, remediation tracking, and cross-team coordination.
  • Create and maintain processes that increase system efficiency and reduce manual intervention, including employee onboarding and offboarding.
  • Manage and maintain the corporate hardware fleet, operating systems, software, mobile device management, and information security tools.
  • Provide support for corporate IT and InfoSec issues.
  • Liaise with vendors and other IT personnel for problem resolution.
  • Analyze business requirements by partnering with key stakeholders across the organization to develop solutions for internal IT needs.
  • Support security and technology roadmap projects and process improvement initiatives.
  • Promote a culture of security awareness through regular training and communication.
