About The Position

We are seeking a highly motivated and hands-on Developer to design, develop, and support next-generation transaction banking and ledger platforms. The successful candidate will possess strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, APIs, and Event-Driven Architecture while contributing to the modernization of enterprise banking solutions. Experience with Camunda and/or FluxNova workflow orchestration platforms is highly desirable and will be considered a significant advantage. The role requires collaboration with architects, business analysts, quality engineering teams, and platform teams to deliver scalable, resilient, and secure solutions.

Requirements

  • Strong proficiency in: Java 17+ (or Java 11+), Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Batch, JPA/Hibernate, RESTful API development

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain enterprise-grade applications using Java and Spring technologies.
  • Build scalable microservices and APIs that support transaction processing, workflow orchestration, ledger, liquidity, and payments capabilities.
  • Develop highly available and performant solutions following cloud-native design principles.
  • Participate in system design, technical architecture reviews, and code reviews.
  • Design and implement complex business workflows using Camunda or FluxNova.
  • Integrate workflow engines with downstream and upstream applications through REST APIs, messaging, and event-driven patterns
  • Build integrations using REST, Kafka, asynchronous messaging, and batch frameworks.
  • Develop data processing and reconciliation capabilities leveraging relational databases and event streams.
  • Ensure data integrity, security, and auditability across systems
  • Contribute to CI/CD pipeline implementation and deployment automation.
  • Support containerized deployments using Docker and Kubernetes/OpenShift.
  • Implement monitoring, logging, and observability using enterprise tools.
  • Extensive experience using GitHub and Bitbucket for source control, branching strategies, and code reviews.
  • Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum processes and the ability to lead sprint planning, retrospectives, and daily stand-ups.
