About The Position

The Senior IT Auditor performs technical audits of information systems operations and computerized systems and applications, as directed by the Manager and/or Vice President of Internal Audit. The role may include occasional limited supervision of staff. The Senior IT Auditor also performs internal control consulting assignments, special projects, and investigations as needed.

Requirements

• At least 4 years of experience with a bachelor’s degree.
• Strong knowledge of computer hardware, software, networks, systems, and applications.
• Good organizational and time-management skills, including the ability to multitask.
• Strong computer skills to obtain, analyze, and present data to management.
• Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Good analytical skills, including the ability to formulate recommendations for improvement and communicate them to multiple levels of management.
• Professional-level knowledge of information systems governance principles, including COBIT and ITIL, and internal control principles, including COSO.
• Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) certification.

Responsibilities

• Examines and evaluates the integrity of electronic information systems, hardware and software, and networks.
• Supervises staff on limited assignments.
• Prepares complex computer-generated reports and analyses.
• Examines and evaluates the effective use of enterprise resources.
• Reviews compliance with laws, regulations, and corporate policies.
• Develops and proposes recommendations for control and/or efficiency improvements.
• Reports audit results, including recommendations and management responses.
• Responds to inquiries from external auditors, such as CPA, regulatory, and group auditors.
