Assist clients with investment objectives and asset allocation structures. Lead investment due diligence to conclusion. Provide guidance on investment manager structures and guidelines, investment manager selection and evaluation, and performance monitoring. Oversee and participate in all aspects of client work, including conducting analyses, providing research insights, developing recommendations on asset allocations and manager selections, developing presentation materials, and presenting recommendations directly to family members or principals in a family office. Manage and mentor investment analysts on workflow, use of investment software tools to analyze and present data, and production of final client materials. Position is fixed location based in Boston office; however, telecommuting may be permitted up to four (4) days per week. Up to 40% travel required to meet with clients and fund managers.

Requirements

  • Requires a Master’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Finance, Business Administration or a directly related field plus two (2) years of experience as an Investment Analyst, Fixed Income Trader, Fixed Income Research Analyst, Credit Research Analyst, or related occupation.
  • Two (2) years of experience in the following (experience may be gained concurrently): Working with institutional clients
  • Two (2) years of experience in the following (experience may be gained concurrently): Evaluation and due diligence of marketable and non-marketable investments
  • Project management of junior staff workflow
  • Portfolio construction in a variety of asset classes, asset allocation and manager selection
