Our mission-driven team is seeking a bold and dynamic Senior Inventory Management Specialist who is fueled by high accountability, execution horsepower, and driven to understand our world, science/technology, and life itself, for the benefit of all on Earth and beyond. Since Axiom Space is a very complex work environment, we are looking for a resilient, high-energy Senior Inventory Management Specialist to assist the Stores and Distribution Manager in the management of multiple Shipping/Receiving and Bonded Stores facilities, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency in all areas. This role involves overseeing the custody and tracking of both company-owned inventory and Government Furnished Property (GFP) and adhering to strict regulatory and contractual guidelines during the receiving, storing, issuing, packaging, and dispositioning of materials. The ideal candidate will be a subject matter expert applying their experience and critical thinking skills to assess, develop, and improve all processes and procedures related to these functions as well as provide support to other organizations in similar efforts. They will also conduct regular inventory counts, support audits, and manage the storage of hazardous materials in accordance with OSHA and EPA standards. This is a critical role that requires regular collaboration with multiple departments, including procurement, manufacturing, and quality assurance, to support smooth operations and maintain compliance with company and government requirements.
