About The Position

The Senior International Trade Compliance Specialist reviews product descriptions and technical data to identify import and export classifications in accordance with government standards. The role creates and administers internal audit processes to ensure accurate classifications and import entries, and responds to inquiries from customs brokers, government agencies, internal and external customers, and vendors concerning international shipments.

The specialist researches regulatory issues, licenses, and government agency requirements, and creates related processes. The role also manages trade compliance programs, including follow-up, process improvements, internal communication, team training, and audit readiness. This is an on-site position at Uline’s Corporate Headquarters in Pleasant Prairie, Wisconsin.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree.
• At least 3 years of compliance experience.

Nice To Haves

• Licensed Customs Broker (LCB) or Certified Classification Specialist (CCLS) certification.
• Previous legal analyst experience.
• Bilingual ability.
