Senior Internal Auditor

About The Position

This is a senior-level position that performs moderately complex audit activities, specializing in one functional area of Internal Audit while contributing across functional areas. The Senior Internal Auditor works independently and in teams with minimal management direction, applying audit or business experience, creativity, problem solving, critical thinking, decision-making, and professional judgment to achieve audit objectives. The role builds relationships across business areas, provides forward-looking insights, may lead less-complex audits, mentors team members, and contributes to quality audits and team performance goals. For Internal Controls, the role provides reasonable assurance on the effectiveness of internal controls over financial reporting in compliance with the Sarbanes-Oxley Act (SOX). It collaborates with team members, business partners, and external auditors, and plans and leads audits. The role also builds relationships with leaders responsible for financial reporting processes, supports team development, and contributes to audit quality and performance goals. The position uses AuditBoard, data analysis and visualization tools such as SQL and Microsoft Power BI, and Microsoft Office. The role invests in ongoing learning and supports the development of others.
