The Senior Interior Designer will be responsible for overseeing the overall design and delivery of commercial interior projects from programming through construction administration, while playing a key role in maintaining and expanding client relationships. This position offers clear potential to transition into a management role for the right candidate.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in interior design is required
  • 15+ years of professional interior design experience, with commercial project leadership
  • NCIDQ Certification is required
  • Proficiency in Revit, Microsoft Office Suite, and Bluebeam Revu
  • Strong working knowledge of building codes and industry standards
  • Proven client-facing experience with excellent communication and leadership skills

Nice To Haves

  • 3D rendering capabilities preferred
  • Experience with InDesign, SketchUp, and Photoshop is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Lead programming and space planning efforts
  • Perform and oversee field verification and existing conditions documentation
  • Manage and produce construction documents
  • Direct finish and furniture selection, specifications, and client presentations
  • Lead construction administration efforts and coordination
  • Maintain and strengthen long-term client relationships
  • Support business development and repeat work initiatives
  • Mentor and guide junior design staff
