About The Position

Leidos is seeking a Senior Intelligence Analyst to serve as the FUSION program’s principal contractor authority for analytic tradecraft, methodology, rigor, and finished-intelligence quality. This senior leader will guide analysts in selecting and applying appropriate methods, conduct final contractor reviews prior to Government submission, mentor the analytic workforce, and help integrate AI-enabled analytic tools into production while preserving objectivity, transparency, sourcing discipline, and human judgment.

Requirements

  • Current Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility at time of hire.
  • Ability to work full-time on-site at NGIC in Charlottesville, VA, beginning Day 1.
  • Ability to comply with all security, intelligence-oversight, information-handling, and training requirements.
  • Master’s degree in intelligence studies, national security, international affairs, data analytics, or related field.
  • Twenty (20) years of progressively responsible intelligence-analysis experience supporting DoD or IC missions.
  • Minimum five (5) years serving as a senior intelligence analyst, analytic methodologist, tradecraft lead, branch-level reviewer, or equivalent analytic leader.
  • Extensive experience producing and reviewing all-source finished intelligence.
  • Demonstrated expertise applying IC analytic standards, structured analytic techniques, and appropriate quantitative/qualitative methods.
  • Experience mentoring analysts and conducting formal product reviews for rigor, sourcing, classification, and customer relevance.
  • Strong working knowledge or training in AI-enabled analytic tools, generative AI, data analytics, or human-machine teaming.

Nice To Haves

  • Certified Defense All-Source Analysis – Intelligence (CDASA-I).
  • Intelligence Fundamentals Professional Certification (IFPC) or comparable IC credential.
  • Experience supporting NGIC, INSCOM, DIA, Army G-2, or other Defense Intelligence Enterprise organizations.
  • Experience serving as a Government or contractor Senior Intelligence Analyst, analytic methodologist, tradecraft lead, analytic ombudsman, or product-quality evaluator.
  • Experience reviewing products against ICD 203, ICD 206, and agency-specific production guides.
  • Experience integrating secure generative AI, NLP, machine learning, or advanced analytics into intelligence workflows.
  • Experience across two or more FUSION mission areas (e.g., GMI, I2, S&TI, GEOINT, SIGINT, OSINT, targeting, watch-listing, wargaming).

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the senior contractor advisor for analytic tradecraft, methodology, rigor, and finished-intelligence quality.
  • Guide analysts in applying structured analytic techniques, quantitative methods, qualitative methods, and advanced analytic tools.
  • Review contractor intelligence products prior to Government review to ensure they fully address customer requirements.
  • Train and mentor analysts on analytic standards, production processes, and effective human-machine teaming.
  • Evaluate and guide responsible use of AI—including generative AI—in analytic research, production, and quality control in accordance with U.S. Government policy.
  • Participate in project kickoffs, analytic design reviews, and in-progress reviews to establish sound methodology throughout the product lifecycle.
  • Review analytical design worksheets and advise analysts on methods, assumptions, sourcing, and limitations.
  • Track contractor finished-intelligence production and identify risks to quality, schedule, or customer responsiveness.
  • Conduct final contractor review for grammar, clarity, logic, sourcing, classification, metadata, analytic standards, and compliance with the NGIC Product Review Guide.
  • Assess whether intelligence products clearly answer customer questions and distinguish facts, assumptions, judgments, and uncertainty.
  • Provide training, coaching, and mentorship to new and experienced analysts.
  • Serve as the contractor technical representative for tradecraft, methodology, analytic quality, and assessment production.
  • Evaluate AI-assisted analytic approaches for suitability, transparency, bias, reliability, sourcing, and security.
  • Ensure AI-generated or AI-assisted content is validated by qualified analysts and complies with ICD 203, ICD 206, classification guidance, and Government policy.

  • Pay Range $139,100.00 - $251,450.00
