About The Position

Flashpoint is seeking a Senior Intelligence Analyst I to join their Corporate Security team in a remote capacity. This role involves hunting for new sources across complex online communities, building keyword architecture, and contributing to intelligence pipelines that operate at scale. The analyst will be a core driver in expanding and refining collections coverage to support enterprise clients, with their work directly feeding live pipelines used to surface real threats. The position requires leveraging proprietary tools, internal and external data sources to synthesize data and enhance analysis/alerting services for clients' operational needs. Responsibilities include building and refining keyword sets and Boolean logic, working with enterprise client teams to understand collection priorities, collaborating with internal teams to operationalize new sources, contributing to documentation and tradecraft standards, safely navigating virtual environments, and writing tactical and strategic assessments.

Requirements

  • Navigated illicit online communities, forums, marketplaces, closed channels and understand how they operate, how they shift, and what makes a source valuable versus noisy.
  • Built complex keyword queries to surface relevant intelligence across large, unstructured datasets.
  • Understand the difference between a high-signal source and a high-volume one, and know which matters more depending on the use case.
  • Assessed source credibility and reliability in environments where actors have strong incentives to deceive.
  • Contributed to or helped expand a collections program, identifying gaps, proposing new coverage areas, and validating that new sources actually deliver.
  • Experience producing well-researched and concise written deliverables and can tailor writing to a variety of audiences.
  • Worked with ambiguous requirements and translated them into a concrete sourcing or monitoring strategy.
  • Demonstrated experience finding, evaluating, and monitoring sources within illicit or gray-area online communities.
  • The ability to construct complex Boolean or keyword queries that are precise enough to reduce noise without missing critical coverage.
  • Comfort operating in ambiguous environments where source quality isn't obvious and tradecraft judgment matters.
  • Experience working against external stakeholder requirements — understanding what a client actually needs versus what they asked for.

Responsibilities

  • Leverage proprietary tools, internal data sources, and external tools to synthesize data and enhance analysis/alerting services for our clients' operational needs.
  • Build and refine complex keyword sets and Boolean logic to maximize relevant coverage across diverse community types.
  • Work directly with enterprise client teams to understand their collection priorities and translate those into actionable sourcing strategies.
  • Collaborate with internal collections, product, and engineering teams to operationalize new sources at scale.
  • Contribute to documentation and tradecraft standards that help the broader team replicate your sourcing methods.
  • Safely navigate virtual environments for supporting assigned tasks, as applicable.
  • Write high-quality tactical and strategic assessments to inform risk intelligence decision-making process.

Benefits

  • Gym reimbursements
  • Expensed lunches
  • Learning and development opportunities
