Senior Integration & Test Engineer

K2 SpaceLos Angeles, CA

About The Position

The Senior Integration & Test Engineer will sit at the heart of bringing K2's satellites to life. This role involves leading critical ground-side test campaigns, guiding cross-functional teams, and shaping the systems and processes that ensure every vehicle performs flawlessly from first power-on through on-orbit activities. The engineer will mentor others while staying close to the hardware, commanding powered spacecraft, resolving anomalies in real time, and driving readiness for launch. This leadership position will raise the bar on quality, reliability, and speed, building the foundation for repeatable, high-confidence operations. As K2 evolves from hands-on procedures to a highly automated production operation, this role will define the standards, tools, and best practices to make that transformation possible. The work will directly influence how K2 scales, operates, and deploys new capability on-orbit, offering a unique position to shape the future of production test at K2 Space.
