About The Position

Our client is looking for a qualified full-time Senior Integration Software Engineer to facilitate ongoing support of existing systems, as well as system upgrades and integration for new systems. This support is needed immediately and does not have a planned end date, with the position being reassessed regularly. The role involves supporting internal users at 26 production manufacturing sites in the US, Canada, and Mexico. The technical environment is transitioning from predominantly Windows Servers running .NET Framework applications (C#, ASP.Net/WPF UI, Oracle Database on VMware ESXi) to a microservice architecture using containers on Kubernetes (.NET Core, Blazor UI, PostgreSQL on VMware Tanzu).

Requirements

Computer Science background or equivalent experience
5–7+ years overall experience
2+ years in production manufacturing experience preferred
C# (.net) programming language proficiency
PostgreSQL and Oracle database understanding (Relational Databases)
Command of Windows/Linux
Kubernetes experience
CI/CD Pipelines (Gitlab CI/CD) experience
Operates natively within Agile/Scrum Principles
Strong written and verbal English communication skills
Must be authorized to work in the U.S. (US Citizen preferred or permanent resident Green Card)

Blazor experience
Java programming language proficiency
Proficiency in additional languages beyond English

Responsibilities

Development or modification of manufacturing middleware
Support related to software and interfacing with key users using Service Now
Daily team standups using Agile and Gitlab for software management
Collaboration with key individuals and team lead
Documentation of processes, installation, and release notes
Work with SRE (Site Reliability Engineer) on observability of middleware/software
