About The Position

Ericsson Enterprise Wireless Solutions Inc. is seeking a Senior Integration Engineer to lead the design, development, implementation, and operational maturity of enterprise integrations across cloud and on-premise platforms. This is a highly hands-on engineering role responsible for the full integration delivery lifecycle, from discovery and architecture alignment through development, deployment, monitoring, and continuous improvement. The role involves partnering closely with application teams, business stakeholders, infrastructure teams, and enterprise architecture to deliver scalable, secure, reusable, and supportable integrations that enable critical business capabilities across ERP, CRM, data, operational, and enterprise systems. This position is foundational to building and maturing Ericsson Enterprise Wireless Solutions’ integration platform, engineering standards, DevOps practices, and reusable integration architecture patterns. The role reports to the Senior Director, Architecture and Programs and works closely alongside the Enterprise Architect to help establish and evolve the enterprise integration ecosystem.

Requirements

  • Strong hands-on experience designing and implementing enterprise integrations across SaaS, cloud, and on-premise systems.
  • Deep understanding of APIs, web services, event-driven architectures, orchestration patterns, and data transformation methodologies.
  • Experience working across ERP, CRM, operational, and enterprise application ecosystems.
  • Strong experience with Git-based development workflows and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Hands-on experience using GitLab for source control, merge requests, branching strategies, deployment pipelines, and release management.
  • Familiarity with Agile delivery frameworks and engineering collaboration using Jira.
  • Ability to understand end-to-end business processes and cross-system dependencies.
  • Strong understanding of scalable integration architecture principles, reuse strategies, resiliency patterns, and operational considerations.
  • Ability to partner effectively with enterprise architecture and application engineering teams.
  • Experience implementing logging, monitoring, alerting, and operational support capabilities.
  • Understanding of secure integration design principles including authentication, authorization, encryption, and secrets management.
  • Strong troubleshooting and root cause analysis capabilities.
  • Strong collaboration skills with the ability to work across technical and non-technical teams.
  • Comfortable navigating ambiguity, driving technical discussions, and influencing engineering best practices.
  • Self-directed engineer capable of balancing strategic thinking with hands-on execution.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

Nice To Haves

  • Strongly preferred: hands-on experience building and supporting integrations within Workato.
  • Experience designing scalable Workato recipes, reusable frameworks, monitoring approaches, and operational support models.
  • Understanding of Workato platform governance, deployment models, and best practices strongly preferred.
  • Workato certifications are highly preferred.
  • Relevant cloud, API, integration, or DevOps certifications are a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, test, deploy, and support enterprise integrations across cloud and hybrid environments.
  • Own the full integration lifecycle including requirements discovery, technical design, mapping, transformation logic, orchestration, error handling, deployment, monitoring, and operational support.
  • Collaborate with source and destination system technical teams to understand APIs, data models, business processes, constraints, and integration requirements.
  • Build scalable and reusable integration solutions using API-led, event-driven, and service-oriented design principles.
  • Develop and maintain integration assets including APIs, workflows, connectors, reusable components, and shared services.
  • Serve as a senior hands-on engineer for the Workato integration platform.
  • Design and implement integrations, recipes, orchestration flows, error handling frameworks, monitoring, and reusable patterns within Workato.
  • Establish Workato engineering best practices, standards, governance, and operational support models.
  • Drive platform scalability, maintainability, observability, and operational resilience.
  • Partner with enterprise architecture to evolve integration reference architectures and platform capabilities.
  • Operate within standard Agile delivery practices using Jira, sprint planning, backlog management, and iterative delivery approaches.
  • Implement and maintain strong DevOps engineering practices including Git-based source control, branching strategies, CI/CD pipelines, automated deployments, peer reviews, and release management.
  • Utilize GitLab for source control, deployment automation, code promotion, and engineering collaboration.
  • Support automated testing strategies, deployment validation, rollback planning, and operational readiness processes.
  • Design integrations with reliability, resiliency, observability, and supportability as core engineering principles.
  • Implement proactive monitoring, alerting, logging, and troubleshooting capabilities.
  • Support incident resolution, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement activities.
  • Ensure integrations meet enterprise security, compliance, and operational standards.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation including architecture diagrams, interface specifications, mapping documents, operational runbooks, and support procedures.
  • Contribute to reusable standards, templates, engineering patterns, and integration governance processes.
  • Promote consistency, maintainability, and engineering discipline across the integration landscape.
